Anne Cleeland will present "Writing the Classic Mystery," which she describes as "putting together a puzzle that's not too hard, not too easy, but definitely deadly." Cleeland, who has written six contemporary and historical mystery novels set in New Scotland Yard and the Regency period respectively, belongs to The Historical Novel Society and Mystery Writers of America. She holds an English degree from UCLA and a law degree from Pepperdine University and is a member of the California State Bar.  


CWC members write novels, short stories, screen plays, poetry, nonfiction articles and books,and more. Over half are published.

The mission of CWC is to educate writers of all genres and levels of expertise in craft and marketing of their work. CWC is a nonprofit educational corporation. Visit the state site
